The European Design Awards 2012 is now open for entries
As a member of the jury, I am inviting you to submit your work to this year’s ED-Awards competition 20120000000. The European Design Awards is the comprehensive annual awards organization celebrating the best of graphic design, illustration and digital design in Europe. A joint effort by 15 communication design magazines from across Europe including IDPURE, the ED-Awards is a brilliant way to be visible on an international level.

2012 Mayan Calendar
The IDPURE team wishes you a new year full of success! It is with gratitude that we thank you for your support during the year 2011. Thank you and have an excellent year 2012.
Lars Behrendt has put together a model of a skyscraper that uses 55 shipping containers stacked on top of each other. This project is called the Lotto Turm and it is a plan to revamp the Oesterreichischer Platz. The Oesterreichischer Platz is a parking spot in the southern part of Germany.
The shipping container structure will be split into two parts. The first part will be a courtyard area that is isolated from traffic and noise. And the other part will be a high-rise tower that has stairs which can go all the way to the top. One of the containers will be purely a swimming pool.

This is a Metapost program and wrapper TeX document that generates a baseball scorecard, as well as demonstrates the scoring from the game where Mark McGwire broke Roger Maris’ season home run record in 1998. The Metapost code includes a variety of locations, paths, and functions to make it easy to generate nice-looking baseball scorecards with or without the scoring.
